Rising costs are hitting families, seniors, and young people hard. Mike knows that municipal decisions can make life either more expensive or more manageable. 

That’s why he’ll advocate for fair property taxes, careful budgeting, and investments that deliver real value for residents. His focus will always be on keeping Strathcona County a place where people can thrive without being priced out.

Residents deserve safe neighbourhoods and safe streets. Mike will work with County staff, community members and our local RCMP to improve traffic safety, and ensure our social infrastructure keeps up with growth. 

Public safety is a top priority, and Mike will support initiatives that strengthen community policing, improve emergency response, and make sure residents feel safe where they live, work, and play.

As chair of an affordable seniors housing organization in the county, Mike knows firsthand the challenges older residents face. He will champion accessible housing options, ensure recreation facilities and programs are inclusive, and support multi-generational community hubs where seniors can stay active and connected. 

Mike also believes in investing in recreation opportunities for all ages, because a strong community is one where people of every generation feel supported. 

Good governance isn’t just about solving today’s issues—it’s about preparing for tomorrow. Mike brings forward a vision that balances growth with livability, ensuring infrastructure, housing, and recreation planning meet the needs of future generations. 

He believes in long-term investment strategies that protect taxpayers while building a strong, sustainable community. By leading with experience, Mike will ensure Strathcona County continues to be a place people are proud to call home.
